			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>One important key to preventing injury is by stretching. It should not only be the first step in your work out, but it also needs to be done correctly.</p>
<p>Be sure to avoid doing just a quick 30 second workout. It is crucial to stretch your entire body, even if you are only working on one area of your body. Every muscle group needs attention and stretching these out after they&#8217;ve experienced a high level of activity will benefit your body in many different ways. Jump on the bandwagon and listen to the doctors who all advise you about the importance of performing your stretches.</p>
<p>You should always keep your core stretching routine the same. However, if you are going to be doing a more intense workout consider extending your stretches a little longer.</p>
<p>Be sure to keep yourself hydrated to prevent cramping. If you do cramp, be sure to get yourself some water to help with the cramp. Also, stretching at the beginning and end of your workout can help prevent cramps in the future.</p>
<p>When you start your stretches, be sure you start to stretch slowly and work your way into a deeper stretch. If stretching is done right, it can be its own workout.</p>
<p>Start your stretches your lower body, working your legs, feet, and ankles. After that work your way up to your lower and upper body to be sure to stretch all areas of your body.</p>
<p>After your lower body, move to your core areas like your abdomen and lower back. Stretching these parts can be important, especially if you spend a lot of your day sitting down.</p>
<p>Finally, move to your upper body which consists of your chest, arms, shoulders, and neck. It is also important to take time to cook down and stretch some more after a good workout. Doing this will reduce the soreness that you may otherwise feel during the days that follow. Additionally, it lowers the risk of future injury, making it something that you should make a regular part of your routine.</p>
<p>Having a good workout routine is key, as is making sure to get a good stretch before and after your work out. It will help prevent injury and make you feel great.</p>

<p>Street clothes that we wear everyday may way between seven to fifteen pounds. Now, just imagine putting them on and practicing yoga. You would not want to carry heavy clothing, while moving around with it.</p>

Avoid wearing jeans also, it maybe long or short. They are hard and not stretchy.</p>
<p>Although going barefoot during yoga is preferable, some people would rather have footwear. The best choice is to go for a pair of light and flexible sandals that fit properly. Sneakers or flip-flops are not advised since they either do not cling to the foot or are too bulky.</p>
<p>Footwear that does not fit properly can actually cause harm to the body. Since there is a lot of stretching in yoga, you might end up with a muscle cramp if your body is not in the proper position due to loose or bulky footwear.</p>
<p>Again, think light, flexible, well-fitting, and comfortable when doing yoga. Anything that fits all these qualities is a good candidate for wearing to a yoga class.</p>
